Over the last few weeks, two important records in Marathon running have been broken. Upon reflection, both athletes shared that consistency of training was the key to their success. Consistent training, consistent health and nutrition, consistent sleep. Now, I realized that we are far from elite professional athletes... but, are we not "professionals" in our careers, "elite" parents and friends, "athletes" in our health and fitness? Where could we benefit from similar principles of consistency in our day to day habits and routines to create conditions for satisfaction and success over the long term? Perhaps we should step back and identify an area or two where greater consistency could be the breakthrough you are looking for. Enjoy!
