When was the last time you made the choice to eat "the frog"... Mark Twain once said that if you have to eat a frog, best to do it in the morning as nothing worse will happen to you the rest of the day. The frog can be many things for us... exercise, tough conversations, focused work, that outbound sales call... it's the thing we dread, procrastinate, put off, and defer. Yet, how much energy do we spend resisting the frog versus just knocking it out? And how often do we find that the frog wasn't as bad as we though it would be, and the momentum created by doing the hard thing now propels us forward in the day? What if you could take that momentum plus the energy saved from resisting and amplify your day? Yep, eat the damn frog. And do it for breakfast.
