The Man In The Arena
Courage. A simple concept that is amazingly complex in reality. We all like to imagine acting courageously, yet it is a difficult practice and more often than we would like to admit, we let the critic hold us back. Sometimes that critic is external, but I have found that more often it is internal... my own voice. What if we could have the courage to move past the critic? What possibilities would that unlock? What would you pursue that you have always been wanting, but never had the courage to act? Is a worthy life spent playing it safe and listening to the critic, or jumping into the arena to give it your best shot? Sure, we might bloody our knuckles and fail from time to time, and I choose to take the risk. I am not perfect, but I am committed to keep showing up in the arena. Are you?
